A is for Apple Muffin Tin Snack with Cinnamon Applesauce Stencil Tutorial

Last week we focused on the letter "A" and it's sound: as in "APPLE."  I'll post about all of our APPLE activities tomorrow, but first, here's a sneak peak at our "A" is for Apple Muffin Tin Snack.  I included a package of Dole Real Fruit Bites that are made with dried apples, a muffin cup of Apple Jacks, and a muffin cup of natural applesauce with a super-cute cinnamon stencil on top.  Making cinnamon stencils on your applesauce (or pudding, too, maybe?) is super easy and really fun!  Here are the simple steps for...

Cinnamon Applesauce Stencil

1. Use scissors or an exacto knife to cut a small shape out of the middle of a piece of paper.  (I folded mine and cut an apple shape similar to how one would cut a heart shape.  Then added the stem and leaf after I unfolded the paper.)

2.  Place the paper with the shape directly on top of your applesauce, touching the applesauce.

3.  Sprinkle over the shape with cinnamon so that the entire shape opening is covered.

4.  Carefully lift the paper straight up off of the applesauce to reveal your cute shape!  (If it doesn't quite work, stir the cinnamon in and try again.)
