Alphabet Fun: P is for Preschool Puppie Games and Play

So aside from the PICNICS and fruit PIZZA during our Letter P Week last week, we also had fun learning about PUPPIES!  The kids loved watching silly puppy dog videos on Youtube; they're still begging to watch more.  Here was one of their favorites...

Then we spent lots of time on the many fun Clifford Puppy learning games at PBS.
It didn't take long after playing those Clifford games that Sawyer went to find his Clifford.

We used colorful lacing beads as pretend puppy food.  It was great gross motor skill practice to give the puppies a scoop in their bowl.

Then Priscilla had to get her favorite puppy dog in on the fun.  But she obviously pampers hers a bit more!

We played with some little puppy dogs, too, that Sawyer already had in his toy collection.  They look fabulous with these colorful linking ring necklaces, don't you think?!

Sawyer enjoyed using the Linking Rings (which we got second-hand at a sale!) to make PATTERNS, which he was excited to proclaim also starts with "P!"

And when she wasn't distracted with the puppy dogs, Priscilla loved lining the letter P with the rings and talking about their different shapes and colors.

Overall, I'd say it was a fun and successful Letter P Week, with only a couple mentions of "Hey, Mommy!!!  Poop and Pee start with the letter P!"

Excited to be linking this week to Tot School, We Play, and Show & Tell.
