I vividly remember eating this candy (called haystacks without the eggs) at my Great Grandma's annual Christmas parties. I was so excited to see how easy it is to make these Birds Nest Candies when I started seeing this recipe pop up in the blogosphere. Here is one of my favorite ones using rice cereal, too! There seems to be a few different variations. The only thing we did differently was use a muffin tin and liners to help mold them. Check it out...
1. Mixing bowls & spoons
2. Paper muffin cups (optional)
These are perfect to celebrate Spring and Easter. And they're super-easy for kids to help with. As you can see, Sawyer did all of the work. Priscilla was in the background putting egg after egg in her mouth!
What's your favorite Spring/Easter treat?

These look wonderful! We made bird nests from coconut and meltable vanilla baking squares last year. Those were good too, but going to give these a try this year for something different. Just shared the link with my FB friends.
