Now that Easter's here, I wonder how many homes of preschoolers look like mine with dozens of pastel plastic Easter eggs speckling the toy landscape. And they always seem to be around well after Easter, too. So I'm always excited to learn different uses for them. Well, here's our contribution to that collection...
Polka Dot & Circle Painting
with Plastic Easter Eggs
Just put some paint on a paper plate. Dip the opened side of half a plastic egg in the paint. And stamp the painted egg onto the paper!
It's so easy, it'd perfect for toddlers and preschoolers alike.
You can use other things to stamp circles, too. My kids loved this circle sponge brush.
The paintings are cool as is, but if you want to "Easter them up" a bit, let them dry and cut them into big Easter egg shapes.
Ah very sweet and a nice way to make printing "seasonal"! Love it! And great idea to cut the final paintings into Easter eggs!

ReplyDeleteThis is a great way to reuse plastic eggs. We will definitely be trying this.
