Too Good to Sell: Vintage Boy Decor

I thought I'd start a little series showing you some of the vintage and thrifting finds that I just can't part with.  I usually purchase them for the shop and then they find a certain place in my home and just fit in so perfect that I can't bare to list them for sale.

A couple of weeks ago, I found this bedside table at a Saturday sale.  I knew right away that it was perfect for my son's room.  It makes a perfect perch for his navy blue and red wooden lamp that I found at a grungy thrift store about a year ago.  And it was only $12.  Cliff thought I could have gotten them to come down on the price, but being that it was so perfect for what I wanted it for, I didn't mind paying that at all.

What vintage or thrifty finds have you kept for your home decor?

  2. Some of my favorite thrifty finds lately that I've kept for my decor is some brass figurines that I found. It started with these really cool brass bird bookends and the latest is a brass elephant. I don't think I have too much room for more but whenever I see brass figurines I tend to want to pick them up!

  3. Thanks, April and VintageEscapes!

@MissShapes: I just saw a bunch of brass cats at the thrift the other day. They were priced just a bit high for me, though. But I did look twice!
