We’ve bought personalized children’s books before, but they only included the children’s names. Champion Me personalized children’s books go above and beyond the rest by allowing customization of the characters in the book, too. So when I had the chance of reviewing them with the kids, I was so excited. Sawyer and Priscilla got such a kick out of creating characters to look like themselves and dressing them in their favorite colors. They even begged to make books with Cliff (their step-dad) and myself as characters, too.
After creating the characters for the eBooks and purchasing them, it was a short half hour or so wait until we received them right in our email inbox ready to read. The kids were so excited after creating, the books, though, that the half hour seemed far too long to them! When the email arrived we all gathered around the computer to read our personalized stories and laugh at ourselves in children’s book character form.
The stories lived up to the personalized character excitement, too. Each of the four book choices had a silly child-friendly story with fun rhyming lines. The kids wanted to read them over and over.
It’s fun for the kids to read the eBooks on the computer, and their certainly more economical than the soft or hard cover copies. But the kids liked these so much, that I think I might order them some hard copies for Christmas this year.
Do your kids read eBooks? Have they ever had a personalized children’s book?
