DIY Mama: 13 Children’s Book Display Ideas

DIY Book Storage Ideas 1

I think my favorite DIY in my Priscilla’s room is her book display baskets.  I searched high and low for just the right baskets to store her favorite bedtime books near her bed.  These colorful red ones are sturdy but not brittle.  And they have a metal rim around the top which was perfect for screwing right into the wall.  Easy, peasy children’s book storage.

Here are 12 more creative ideas for storing children’s books in your little one’s bedroom or play room.

  1. What a great selection of ideas - we have shelves in the kids bedrooms but I have also created book boxes for them both from old diaper boxes which I've padded then covered in fabrics. http://rainydaymum.co.uk/book-storage-part-1 this is the frog one for my son - my daughters is russian dolls

    1. Thanks awesome, Cerys! I've seen diaper boxes covered in fabric, but I love how yours is padded, too.

    1. Don't get me wrong - books still scatter here, too! But at lease the kids know where to put them back when I ask. :)
