Simple Science: Green Daisies for St. Patrick’s Day

Pin It Green Daisies 1
Yep, everything around here is still all rainbows and shamrocks in anticipation of St. Patrick’s Day.  Even our daisies are slowly turning green in celebration.  We just added green food coloring to their water for an easy beginners science experiment.  The change is slow going (maybe I needed more food coloring or should’ve used watercolors like The Artful Parent did?), but that makes it fun for the kids to asses the transformation each day.
What easy science experiments do you do with your kiddos?
