It sure seems to be the season for baby showers around here. So many people go for the standard diapers and bath supplies when it comes to giving gifts for a new baby. But I like to be unique when gift giving at baby showers. What better than a one of a kind, handmade gift? I just recently made these sweet giraffe-themed burp cloths for a friends new arrival. (I used this simple tutorial from I am Momma, Hear Me Roar.) Here are 30 easy DIY baby gifts with simple step-by-step tutorials.

Oh wow thanks for this compiled list! I love making blankets and burp rags and giving clothes that are a few sizes too big(we sometimes forget babies grow) and my friends love it, they tell me so and s finally fits in the clothes you gave me!
ReplyDeleteThanks again!
You're very welcome! I was happy to compile it for myself to have all of these resources in one spot, too. I know exactly what you mean about the larger sized baby clothes. My little guy is starting to get into 6 month sizes and we didn't get a lot in the larger sizes as gifts. I think people just love to buy those really itty bitties!

I also have a cool idea for the baby mobiles I've made!
Could also do nursing or feeding covers for breast feeding mums. I bought one for $50 and made one for a similar price but more experienced sewers would prob need less upfront costs cos already prepared ;)
